Join us for a transformative 2-hour Masterclass with Laura Bergquist, a distinguished music director from Broadway, currently lending her expertise to The Fulton’s “It Happened In Key West.” Seize the chance to showcase your talent as you sing a chosen piece, receiving invaluable feedback and guidance from Laura to elevate your technique and performance. Meet The Teacher

Laura Bergquist is the Music Director and Conductor for The Fulton Theater’s American premiere of the new musical, IT HAPPENED IN KEY WEST. She is a Broadway and Off-Broadway Conductor, Music Director, Vocal Coach, Composer, Arranger and an ASCAP Awards Recipient for composition. Laura has conducted for Lea Salonga, Josh Groban, Telly Leung, Zachary James and been in concert at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, The Green Room, Joe’s Pub, Broadway Backwards. Regional work includes The Old Globe, Chicago Shakespeare, Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Music Theatre of Wichita, Oklahoma Lyric. Original cast recordings and films for ALLEGIANCE, DADDY LONG LEGS, JANE EYRE, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, EMMA, CHRISTMAS LETTERS and more than 50 published choral and piano works. Laura loves working with actors and singers and has a large coaching studio in New York. She is also a Mentor with Maestra Music and a Deacon at her church. Laura lives in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City with her husband, Joe.
