In this class, students will perform individual musical theater pieces with a focus on developing storytelling techniques. By analyzing lyrics and accessing the emotional truth behind their piece, students will learn to interpret their performance work in new and exciting ways. This class is also helpful for students looking to improve their audition skills. Students should come prepared with at least one musical theater piece to sing (sheet music and/or karaoke track included).
