Is your audition book still needing that Golden Age song? Are you looking for some new material to spice up your upcoming audition season? Do you like learning about musicals you’ve never heard of before? This class is for you!! In this fall’s four-week, Retro Remix class, we will walk through the last 100 years of musical theater history, and learn all about the different milestones in theater repertoire. From Vaudeville to Mean Girls, you will learn how to stylistically sing through different ages of musical theater, and ace that revival production audition. Not only that, but you will leave the class with at least two new songs to add to your audition book, which will prepare you to be a more advanced and versatile performer. After seven classes covering the seven major shifts in theater history, students will participate in a class performance, presenting their new material. You won’t want to miss out!
